Halona Blowhole

Located just 10-15 minutes by car from Waikiki (off State Highway 72 — Koko Head District Park), this is a rock formation and a blowhole that provide those passing through here with amazing photo opportunities.  When the tide and wind are just right, it shoots up water like a whale’s blow hole. To the right of the scenic lookout is Halona Cove, a secluded beach. To the left of the lookout is Sandy Beach, a popular South Shore surf and boogie board beach, and one of the best places on the island to fly a kite.
